Although WebZinc as a product has been around for several years, the .NET version is brand spanking new and was only launched on January 10. There are just a few raw edges, but I found nothing serious. The best thing about WebZinc is that they seem to have put most of their effort into designing their object model for the long haul. Even though they have managed to make it pretty easy to get started with WebZinc, the product has a lot of depth. They're clearly going after the heavy duty business market. That does bring up the fact that their pricing matches their 'big business' goals. When you can purchase a full version of VB.NET for about a hundred dollars, a single developer license to WebZinc costs four times as much. But there is a free evaluation version available for download with some standard 'nagware' built in. If you're a business and you need the things that WebZinc can do, Go For It!
