Visual Basic .NET for Beginners

You've heard about VB .NET and maybe you've even tried it. You want to know more about how to use it but you need a tutorial that doesn't assume that you have a Computer Science degree. If this describes you, then this is the tutorial for you.

This course is designed to introduce someone who has some familiarity with programming concepts, but no experience with VB .NET at all. The goal is learning VB .NET rather than programming concepts, so we won't cover how to program a loop, but we will write very basic programs that don't assume that you already know how to write one.

One lesson is delivered each week to your email inbox and there are four lessons in this tutorial.

And one more thing. The first thing we cover is how to do it "on the cheap". I also don't assume that everyone has a corporate budget to buy all of Microsoft's latest software!

Please keep these tips in mind!
  1. If you change your email address after the course starts, the lessons won't get to you!
  2. If you're using software that blocks email until a "real person" sends it, the lessons won't get to you!
