Lesson 4 - Learn Visual Basic .NET 2005 now!
The OOP Lesson

We continue our series about learning VBE - Visual Basic .NET 2005 Express - this week with a full lesson featuring both an in depth look at Object Oriented Programming - OOP!

Although this is a course for people just starting out in Visual Basic (using the free version of VB.NET available for download at Microsoft), I don't start by telling you about statements, operators, and variables like a lot of beginning courses. I start at the real beginning for programming today: Object Oriented Programming. And in every lesson of this tutorial, we finish up with an example program. The program in this lesson is the first version of a new example - the Signature Block Program - that we're going to improve over the next few lessons.
