When is a Game Programming Book NOT a Game Programming Book?

You might remember nonsense riddles like this when you were a kid. In this case, the answer to the riddle is:

When it's Matt Tagliaferri's great book, "Learn VB.NET Through Game Programming".

And that's because it's really one of the best introductions to VB.NET and OOP around and only incidentally about game programming.

Oh, the examples are about game programming, and there are some great 'resource' chapters that will help you get started building the competition to XBox. But the fact is, it's a better book for learning VB.NET than anything else. See the complete review for more!
